In 2016, FPSO Ventures Sdn. Bhd. was fortunate to be selected by Petronas to support the world’s first-ever Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit. The Petronas Floating Liquefied Natural Gas Satu (PFLNG Satu) was a groundbreaking engineering achievement that set a benchmark in the Floating LNG production industry.
In 2022, we were appointed by Wison New Energies of China to provide operation and maintenance engineering services for ENI’s FLNG unit, currently under construction and destined for Congo.
We are now honoured to announce that we have been awarded a pre-operations services contract by PT Layar Nusantara Gas, a subsidiary of Genting Oil & Gas, and the owner of Indonesia’s first-ever FLNG unit. This unit is being built by Wison New Energies in Shanghai, China, with delivery planned for 2026.
