On 9 April 2018, the FSO Benchamas 2 facility departed, Pasir Gudang, Johor under tow bound for the Gulf of Thailand. Her voyage is expected to take seven days, where she will then be installed as part of a full field development for Chevron Offshore (Thailand) Ltd at the Benchamas field in the Gulf of Thailand.
Following completion of successful operations readiness activities at Pasir Gudang, Johor, FVSB is ready and looking forward to executing the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) phase of the project, which is expected to commence in May 2018 after successful installation and commissioning of the FSO.
